Events relating to its establishment    Kotkadar is a vast village of mixed creeds of Muslims, Hindus and a few Christians. Sisters started their work giving non formal education and health care staying in a rented house from 14th July 1989 onwards. Under Rev. Fr. Baisel Pynadath CMI a convent was built for the sisters. On 3rd January 1992 the convent was blessed by Bp. Gratian Mundadan CMI. Non formal classes have now developed into a Hindi medium school in a proper building. Sisters give health care to the villagers specially women and children in the dispensary run adjacent to the convent.
