Premal Jyoti Today:    Shaktipura is a remote village. It was exclusively for the upliftment of rural illiterate and poor people that Premal Jyoti Convent was started. Catering to health care a dispensary is run by the sisters. Through mobile clinic, sisters reach out to the remote parts of the villages giving medical aid. Also they have different projects for making the villagers literate and self sufficient.
